Do Popadelics contain any psychedelics?
No! Although our snacks are out of this world, they do not contain any psilocybin, CBD, or THC. However, a portion of all purchases supports the Fun-Gal Snacks Foundation, which in turn supports research toward the use of psychedelics to treat mental health, via the Johns Hopkins Institute for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research.
What does "popadelic" mean?
"Popadelic" is actually a slang word that means “Having the coolness or style of pop music or pop stars”, interestingly enough!

Are Popadelics vegan?
Yes! All of our flavors are vegan, including our (vegan) Trippin’ Truffle Parm (with some of the tastiest vegan parm in the game)!
Are Popadelics gluten free?
While Popadelics are not yet gluten free certified through any third party agencies and no formal laboratory tests to measure the presence of gluten in our final product have been performed to date, we possess written attestations from all of our ingredient suppliers that each individual ingredient is gluten free. In addition, shiitake mushrooms are our primary ingredient, and they are naturally gluten free.
Are Popadelics non-GMO?
Yes! Popadelics Crunchy Mushroom Chips and its three flavors (Trippin’ Truffle Parm, Twisted Thai Chili, and Rad Rosemary & Salt) are Non-GMO Project certified.
Are Popadelics kosher?
Yes! Popadelics Crunchy Mushroom Chips and its three flavors (Trippin’ Truffle Parm, Twisted Thai Chili, and Rad Rosemary & Salt) are kosher certified via the Orthodox Union (OU). Please note that the certification became official after some of our packaging was printed, but we can confirm all product has been produced in the same facility and with the same ingredients that have been certified.
How big is each pack?
Bags come in two sizes: 1.4 oz or 4 oz; each 1.4 oz bag contains a single serving while each 4.0 oz bag contains 4 individual 1 oz servings (about 9 chips per serving).
Where are Popadelics made?
Popadelics are processed (i.e. seasoned and packaged) in Illinois, USA. We work with a US-based specialty ingredients distributor to source our shiitake mushrooms, which primarily originate from China. All imported ingredients are first inspected for safety and standards at our distributor's domestic facility before they come to us, and our distributor is certified via Level 2 Safe Quality Food Institute (SQF2) standards. What that means: they’ve been certified in a rigorous, globally recognized program to ensure they source safe, quality food products. What that really means: they're strict! All of our other ingredients are domestically (US) sourced.
How should I store my Popadelics?
Popadelics are ready-to-eat and are best stored in ambient (room temperature) environments in a cool, dry place. Store and enjoy as you would any other crunchy chip/snack!
How are Popadelics so crunchy?
Our unique vacuum frying cooking method makes our snack better-for-you than other mainstream snacks while also producing our signature crunch! Vacuum frying uses a combination of pressure and hot oil. Compared to traditional frying, vacuum fried foods cook at much lower temperatures. This can help food absorb less oil and retain more of their color, nutrients, texture, and flavor.
I don’t like mushrooms. Will I like Popadelics?
We dare you to try Popadelics - mushroom lovers and doubters alike are raving about our snacks. We promise you haven’t had shiitake mushrooms like this before (or this crunchy)!

Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship domestically (U.S.). If you are an international customer, however, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
All in-stock snacks will ship within 1-5 business days, pending credit card verification. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order, and a subsequent email when your order has been shipped. If you do not receive either of these emails, please contact us at email@example.com.
Can I make changes to an existing order?
If you’d like to make a change to your order, including your shipping address, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can. Note that we can only make changes to orders before they are shipped.
Can I cancel an existing order?
Orders can only be canceled prior to shipment. Please reach out to us right away at email@example.com should you want to cancel and order, and we’ll do our best to accommodate, if possible.
How do I track my package?
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order, and a subsequent email when your order has been shipped. If you do not receive either of these emails, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that the tracking number may take 24-48 hours to update once you receive it.
Can I order a single pack?
While we do not currently support single pack orders, we hope to be able to do so soon!
What do I do if I think my package is missing?
If your package was marked as delivered but you don’t see it on your doorstep, please email us at email@example.com. We will see if we can track it down for you!
Do you accept returns or refunds?
While we don’t accept any returns, if you are dissatisfied with your order, please let us know via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will refund your first order in full. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to appear on your account due to varying processing times between payment card providers.
When and how can I cancel a subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel a subscription, first log into your account. Then click the “Subscriptions” tab and click the “Cancel” button next to any products you would like to cancel. How can I skip subscription delivery? To skip a delivery, first log into your account. Then click on “Delivery Schedule” to view all upcoming deliveries. To skip a delivery you can click “Skip” next to the delivery date you would like to skip.
How can I update my shipping address for a recurring subscription?
To update your shipping address, first log into your account. Then click on “Subscriptions” and click “Edit” to the right of the address. Note that this only applies to the shipping/delivery address, not the billing address.
How can I update my billing information for a recurring subscription?
To update your billing information, first log into your account. Then click on ‘Billing Information” to edit your billing address and payment method.
Can I add or change products in my subscription?
Yes! To add additional items, first log into your account. Then select “Manage Subscriptions” and choose a subscription to edit. You can now search, view, and select additional products to add to your upcoming deliveries.

Note that not all discount codes and promos valid on popadelics.com are eligible on Buy with Prime orders. Can I make Buy with Prime purchases if I'm not in the US?

What happens if my order is late?
Most packages arrive on time, but orders sometimes show up after the estimated delivery date. Possible reasons for late delivery include:
- Incorrect address
- Missing apartment, building, floor, or unit number
- Severe weather conditions
- Other carrier-related delays
If you do not receive your order in the anticipated timeframe, we recommended that you do the following:
- From your order confirmation email, click through to the order details page to check the status of your order. Your shipment confirmation email will also include a link to track your package.
- On the order details page, you can confirm your shipping address.
- Wait 48 hours to allow for unexpected delays.
What forms of payment do you accept?

How is sales tax determined?
The amount of sales tax charged on your orders depends on multiple factors, including the type of item purchased and your delivery address. The tax rate is the combined state and local rates associated with your address. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if it is delivered to another state. Sales tax is calculated and charged at the time you place the order.
What is the Buy with Prime Return Policy?
Some Buy with Prime orders are eligible for return. To start a return, view your order status from the link in the email you received after you placed your order. You'll be able to begin the return process and print a USPS return label. For eligible orders, you will receive a full refund as long as the returned items are in resellable condition and returned within the return window. How do I initiate a return for Buy with Prime purchases?
To initiate a return for an eligible product purchased using Buy with Prime, click on the link in the order confirmation email to go to your order details page. From there you will be able to select the item(s) that you want to return and print a return shipping label. Then drop off your package at your local USPS location. Note that Buy with Prime purchases cannot be returned using other carriers besides USPS and may not be dropped off at Amazon locations such as Amazon Lockers, Whole Foods, or Amazon Go.
How long does it take for me to get a refund?
For eligible orders, you'll receive a refund once the item is dropped off and scanned at a USPS location. Otherwise, the refund will be processed once the item is received and reviewed at our fulfillment center. It could take up to seven business days for the refund to show up in your account.
How do I cancel a Buy with Prime order?
After you place an order using Buy with Prime, you can initiate an order cancellation yourself from the order detail page if it hasn’t shipped. The link to the order detail page is included in your order confirmation email.
When I initiate an order cancellation, is that order canceled immediately?
No, the order is not canceled immediately. When you initiate a cancellation, we send a cancellation request to the fulfillment provider. We notify you by email if the cancellation is successful or not.
When will I receive a refund?
If the cancellation is successful, you can expect to receive your refund within 3-5 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.
